Four old women (tumbang tua). A middle-aged woman (tumbang muda), lives with the officiants and must respect a series of prohibitions; two young girls (limbong bua’ and pondok bua’), the tumbang's husband as tarruk bua’ or lumbaa. They all wear yellow clothing. The ‘officiated’ woman, senior officiated woman (wearing a cloth on her head). The song praises this woman's ancestry, the wealth of her village, her house, the unity of the people celebrating the bua’, her paddy fields, the eight wells.
PublicQuatre femmes âgées sont appelées tumbang tua, « les vieilles tumbang ». Une femme d'âge moyen, tumbang muda « la jeune tumbang » vit avec les officiants et doit suivre une série d'interdits alimentaires, deux petites filles limbong bua' et pondok bua', le mari de la tumbang appelé tarruk bua' ou lumbaa, le to ma'patondon etc. ; tous doivent porter des vêtements jaunes. L'officiée tumbang, officiée majeure (avec un tissu sur la tête). Le chant loue l'ascendance de cette femme, la richesse de son village, de sa maison, de l'unité des gens qui font le bua', de ses rizières, des huit puits, de ses enfants. (French)
Syair ini mengagung-agungkan asal-usul keturunannya, kekayaan kampung halamannya, rumahnya, kesatupaduan para pelaksana bua’, sawah-sawahnya, delapan sumber mata airnya, situasi, dan keturunannya yang tersebar di seluruh dunia.
