A stake is planted In the West and in the East, in the courtyard, upstream from the houses. Au Couchant et au Levant, dans la cour, en amont des maisons, un pieu est planté. Sur celui-ci seront suspendues des parties des animaux sacrifiés (cornes, morceaux de viande) et des fioles en bambou remplies de sang. L’officiant s’assoit à côté du pour y faire des invocations. Baik pada aluk rampe matampu’ maupun pada aluk rampe matallo, di halaman pada bagian utara dari rumah, sebuah tiang ditancapkan. Pada tiang inilah akan digantungkan potongan-potongan daging binatang-binatang yang disembelih (tanduk, potongan-potongan daging), ruas-ruas bambu penuh darah. Pemangku adat duduk di dekat tiang tersebut untuk dapat melontarkan seruan-seruannya. Pada aluk rampe matallo, tiang ini disebut peturo langi’ (Nooy-Palm 1986: 40). Pada aluk rampe matampu’, tiang disebut simbuang kayu. Pada tiang ini pulalah diikatkannya daging binatang sembelihan tertentu. (Indonesian)
