Nyanyian dimulai dengan suatu harapan akan turunnya para dewa ke bumi, suatu kerinduan akan kedatangan “senjata tajam”, akan “benda yang dapat memotong”. Pentingnya penglihatan dalam hal ini tampak diutamakan (pemangku adat “melihat sepintas”, “melihat samar-samar”, dalam “mimpi-mimpinya”).
