[A.3.1.3 P0_17 A-9] Échelles, [A.3.1.3 P0_17 A-9] Scales. (anglais), [A.3.1.3 P0_17 A-9] Tangga Nada.
Three types of scale are used. The basic scale, anhemitonic, is based on three main tones, separated by whole steps (Figure a): the pitch of the drone sustained by the chorus, the pitch on which the soloist bases his song (plainchant tenor) a second above the drone, and a pitch soloist a fourth below. The soloist can rarely rest on the second below the drone; the scale then becomes 3 4 5 6 (Figure b). In certain cases, if the soloist embroiders the tenor a semitone above, the scale then becomes hemitonic (Figure c). (anglais)
Tiga tipe tangga nada dimanfaatkan.
