[B.2.2.1.2.3] Chant des femmes à Torea, [B.2.2.1.2.3] Lagu gelong baine para wanita di Torea (indonésien), [B.2.2.1.2.3] Women's song at Torea. (anglais)

Public

This song takes place during the delirium of the trance. It is called the “women’s song” (gelong baine) or “song of scarring” (sampa-sampa to mantere). It accompanies a healer’s ‘fakir’ acts as he cuts a part of his body. The song is supposed to help stop the bleeding. (anglais)
