Lors du grand rituel bua' kasalle, de nombreuses paroles étaient prononcées par les officiants, invités par le commanditaire des festivités. Avant le départ à la fête, les chanteurs allaient faire une offrande à la cascade pour obtenir une belle voix. Puis, en arrivant sur le lieu, ils se présentaient au commanditaire. Alors, l’officiant déclamait un long panégyrique au maître du lieu. Ces paroles étaient alternativement psalmodiées et chantées.

During the great bua' kasalle ritual, the officiant, invited by the owner of the house, gives several speeches. Once, before the departure to the festival, the song could not be performed without an offering to the waterfall, to ask for a beautiful voice. Then, arriving at the feast, the singers and the officiant would present themselves to the sponsor. Lastly, the officiant would honour him with a long praise. (anglais)
