Cette ronde fut enregistrée à l'occasion des funérailles protestantes de l’aristocrate Ne’ Sakkung, le jour de la descente de son corps du grenier à riz au champ sacrificiel. C’est le groupe de chanteurs de Rantetayo qui est enregistré ici. Ce jour là, plus tard, à la tombée du jour, six grandes rondes sont venues chanter au même moment.

Recorded at the Protestant death ritual of Ne' Sakkung. This is the day when the body is moved from the rice barn to the ceremonial field. The group of singers come from Rantetayo. At the end of the day, six badong round-dances were performed at the same time on the sacrificial field. (anglais)
