PublicLe dernier jour, des transes ont lieu. Les divinités sont invitées à descendre sur le lieu cérémoniel. Chaque mât est « chanté » par le chant gelong bate. Devant chaque mât, un groupe de jeunes filles en habits cérémoniels le front ceint d’un bandeau de fruits mélongènes (tarrung) exécute la danse gellu’ au son du tambour, frappé à l’aide d’un bâton par quatre jeunes garçons. La danse est paisible, gracieuse, ordonnée ; les filles sont en rangs parallèles. Chaque groupe de danseuses est constitué de filles de chacune des cinq maisons. L’énergie vitale est dispensée par les chanteurs et les personnes en transe qui se flagellent et par le sang de l’officiant.
On the last day, trances take place. The divinities are invited to come down to the ceremonial site. Each mast is ‘sung’ with the gelong bate song. In front of each mast, a group of girls in ceremonial dress with a band of tarrung (eggplant) wound round their heads perform the gellu’ dance to the sound of the drum struck with a stick by four young boys. The dance is calm and gracious; the girls are in parallel rows. Each group of dancers is made up of girls from each of the five houses. The vital energy is dispensed by the singers and those in trance whipping themselves, and by the officiant's blood. (anglais)
Pada hari terakhir, peristiwa kesurupan pun berlangsung. Para dewa diminta untuk turun ke arena upacara. Setiap bendera dinyanyikan dengan menggunakan gelong bate. Di depan setiap bendera, sekelompok anak gadis, yang menggunakan pakaian upacara dengan ikat kepala dari untaian buah terung, sedang menarikan gellu’ dalam irama gendang yang ditabuh oleh empat lelaki muda. Tarian itu berirama tenang dan lemah gemulai. Gadis-gadis itu menari dalam posisi yang paralel. Masing-masing kelompok penarinya terdiri dari gadis-gadis yang berasal dari kelima rumah itu.
