Sacred fabrics (maa') and pendants of colored pearls (kandaure) are hung from the top of the house. Provisional accommodation has been set up around the rice granaries. The whole is decorated with palm leaves. Inside the house, the effigy anak dara is enthroned so as to receive a multitude of offerings of meat throughout the celebration. On the front of the house, ladders have been mounted for the ‘officiated’ women (to tumbang) to climb up to the platforms. She is given a temporary status during one year.

Des tissus cérémoniels (maa’) et des pendentifs de perles colorées (kandaure) sont accrochés au haut de la maison. Autour des greniers à riz ont été érigées des habitations provisoires. L’ensemble est décoré de feuilles de palmiers. À l’intérieur de la maison, trône l’effigie anak dara qui recevra une multitude d’offrandes de viandes pendant tout le rituel. Sur le devant de la maison, ont été construites des échelles qui mènent à des plates-formes où montent les officiées to tumbang. (French)

Kain keramat (maa’) dan leontin yang terbuat dari untaian permata berwarna-warni (kandaure) digantungkan dari atas rumah. Di sekitar lumbung padi dibangun tempat pemondokan sementara. Kesemuanya berhiaskan janur. Di atas rumah, ada patung anak dara yang akan memperoleh persembahan daging yang berlimpah selama pesta berlangsung. Pada bagian depan rumah, dibangun tangga yang menuju ke menara, tempat yang dibangun untuk para petugas to tumbang. (Indonesian)

Ma’tambuli. Contrast of tones, grace and the extreme facility of the singer who passes from the spoken to the sung with astonishingly expressive ease., Ma'tambuli. Assis devant l'arbre à viande, l'officiant burake tient une lance plantée à terre dans une main, et une fiole remplie de sang dans l'autre main, il s'adresse aux divinités et raconte un récit en prose. Le timbre du soliste balance entre tension et détente, d'une psalmodie tranchante et acérée, recto tono, au langage parlé, naturel et désinvolte.
