A long trident mast is made and then erected to the West in front of the house of the deceased. Next it is carried in procession to the megalith field, accompanied by the sound of the gong and by women with covered heads. It represents the deceased.

Un long mât trident (bandera), figurant le défunt, est confectionné puis érigé devant la maison du défunt en direction du couchant. Il est ensuite porté en procession accompagné par des femmes, au son du gong sur le champ mégalithique. (French)

Pembuatan sebuah tiang tinggi bercabang tiga, yang kemudian didirikan di depan rumah mendiang, tiang yang menghadap ke ufuk barat. Tiang itu kemudian dibawa dalam prosesi dan ditemani oleh kaum perempuan dengan kepala ditutup tudung. Prosesi tersebut berlangsung dalam arena megalit, dan diiringi oleh suara gong. Tiang tersebut merupakan lambang dari mendiang. (Indonesian)
