Several dances, either female or male, are performed at the bua’ kasalle throughout the celebration: for the women, the gellu’ and dandan, and for the men the horned dance manganda’ and the singing dance simbong. The dancers wear special ornaments. These dances, necessary to complete the rite, are linked to the myth. For a description of the dances, see Holt 1939.

Lors du bua’ kasalle, plusieurs danses, soit féminines, soit masculines, ont lieu : pour les femmes, les danses gellu’ et dandan ; pour les hommes, la danse manganda’ et la danse simbong. Les danseurs revêtent des parures spécifiques. Les premières descriptions de ces danses ont été faites par Claire Holt et Rolf de Maré en 1939. (French)

Dalam ritus bua’ kasalle, selama pesta, terdapat beberapa tarian yang dibawakan, baik oleh kelompok wanita maupun oleh kelompok lelaki. Untuk wanita ma’gellu’ dan ma’dandan, sedangkan untuk kelompok lelaki, tarian bertopi mangnganda’ dan tarian sambil bernyanyi manimbong. Para penari menggunakan perhiasan yang unik.
