The ‘meat field’ or ‘field of slaughter’ (rante pedukuran, rante pantunuan) is the main site for the second funeral celebration at which sacrifices, songs and dances take place. This field is planted with tall megaliths that mark former great funerals. The area is located outside the village, most often downstream.

Le « champ à viande » ou « champ de l’abattage » (rante pedukuran, rante pantunuan) est le lieu principal des secondes funérailles sur lequel ont lieu sacrifices, chants et danses. Il est planté de hauts mégalithes, pierres marquant d’anciennes grandes funérailles. Il est situé à l’extérieur du village, le plus souvent en aval. (French)

“Arena pencarian daging” (rante pedukuran) atau “arena pembantaian” (rante pantunuan) merupakan wilayah terpenting untuk upacara pemakaman tahap kedua. Pada tempat inilah berlangsungnya penyembelihan kerbau korban, kegiatan menyanyi dan menari. Pada arena inilah ditanamkan megalit yang tinggi. Batu-batu ini merupakan saksi sejarah berbagai pelaksanaan upacara pemakaman besar pada arena tersebut. Arena ini umumnya terletak di luar perkampungan, biasanya di sebelah hilir. (Indonesian)
