I studied this song, which was sung by seven groups of singers from two regions in the northwestof the country. The 67 simbong pieces and 34 nani pieces constitute a corpus of 101 pieces. Each piece of simbong lasts from about five to twelve minutes.

J’ai étudié ce chant auprès de sept groupes de chanteurs de deux régions du Nord-Ouest du pays. Les 67 pièces de simbong et les 34 pièces de nani constituent un corpus de 101 pièces. Chaque pièce de simbong dure de 5 à 12 mn environ. (French)

Saya meneliti nyanyian ini pada tujuh kelompok penyanyi yang berada di dua daerah yang terletak di barat laut Tana Toraja. Ke-67 karya simbong dan ke-34 karya nani merupakan sebuah korpus yang secara keseluruhan berjumlah 101 potong. Setiap karya simbong memiliki durasi sekitar 5 sampai 12 menit. (Indonesian)
