École Normale de Musique de Paris
PublicThe École Normale de Musique de Paris was founded by Alfred Cortot and Auguste Mangeot in 1919 as a private institution.
The student records of the École Normale de Musique before 1950 are not available. The only partial source has been consulted by Marie Dûchene-Thégarid, who has included this information as an annex in her PhD dissertation. There are some documents regarding this institution among Nadia Boulanger's papers at the BnF, and some scattered information in the Fonds Cortot and Long at the Bibliothèque Musicale La Grange-Fleuret.
