Pulung ‘meet together to confer’; words versified and chanted by the officiants from 6.00 p.m. to 2.00 a.m., addressed to the divinities, on the first day of the second part of the bua’. Synonym: ma'passampe, ma'nani. Nighttime. The area is covered with a white fabric (kalebu') to protect the houses from adversity. The officiants, facing north, hold a spear dug into the earth, and recite in turn throughout the night without interruption. The content particularly evokes the history of the houses. It is a spoken/scanned invocation, sometimes chanted with or without a bell but without a pulse.

Synonyme : ma’passampe, ma’ nani. Il fait nuit. L’espace est recouvert d’un tissu blanc (kalebu’) pour protéger les maisons de l’adversité. Les officiants, face au nord, en tenant une lance enfoncée dans la terre, récitent toute la nuit, sans discontinuer et en alternance. L’histoire des maisons est plus particulièrement évoquée. C’est une invocation parlée-rythmée, quelquefois scandée avec ou sans cloche mais sans pulsation. (French)

“Bertemu untuk saling bertukar pikiran” kata-kata bersajak yang diberi ritme oleh para pemangku adat, dari pukul 18.00 malam sampai pukul 02.00 dini hari, dialamatkan pada para dewa, pada hari pertama, bagian kedua bua’. Sinonim ma’pasempe’, ma’nani. Hari telah larut malam. Ruangan telah ditutup sehelai kain putih (kalebu’) untuk melindungi rumah dari bala bencana. Para pemangku adat menghadap ke utara dengan berpegang pada sebilah pedang yang tertancap ke tanah. Mereka bercerita sepanjang malam tanpa henti, serta saling bergantian satu dengan yang lain. Isinya secara khusus bercerita tentang sejarah rumah. Ini merupakan doa yang diberi ritme, adakalanya dideklamasikan dengan atau tanpa lonceng, tetapi tanpa beat. (Indonesian)
