Depending on rank the façades are decorated with the heads of different animals: buffaloes, cocks, birds, serpents. These animals play an important role in the myths. The cock and the buffalo are held to be agents of transformation, who ensure the transfer of the deceased’s wealth and restore life (Waterson 1989: 66).

Selon le rang, les façades de maisons sont décorées de diverses têtes d’animaux : buffles, coqs, oiseaux, serpents. Ces animaux tiennent une place importante dans les mythes. Menurut sistem lapisan sosial, wajah rumah berhiaskan berbagai bentuk kepala binatang: kerbau, ayam jantan, burung-burung, ular. Binatang-binatang ini sangat berperan dalam dunia mitos.
