Dans les deux plus grands rituels, du Couchant et du Levant, l’entrée sur le champ cérémoniel est consacrée par l’entrée en procession des familles (rapu). Au Couchant, le rite ma’pasonglo (« descendre en procession » sur le grand champ à l’ouest de la maison) ouvre les secondes funérailles. Au Levant, la seconde partie du bua’ kasalle s’ouvre par l’entrée en procession des membres de la famille sur le grand champ à l’est de la maison (megorang tama kala’paran). Dans les deux cas, les secondes parties ont toujours lieu hors de la maison.

In the two greatest celebrations – of both the West and the East – the entrance onto the ceremonial field is consecrated by the stem-family members, who enter in procession.
