Once a year or every x years after the harvests, the families go to the graves of the long dead. They reopen the coffins, change the shrouds and invoke the ancestors. A to minaa invites all the ancestors to share the offerings (betel, areca nut, tobacco and money) prepared for them (Nooy-Palm 1986: 202, Tsintjilonis 2000). Mereka akan membuka dan memperbaharui kain kafan setiap jenazah dan memanjatkan doa kepada para leluhur. Seorang pemangku adat to minaa memohon kepada para leluhur untuk membagi antar mereka persembahan (sirih, buah pinang, tembakau dan uang) yang disiapkan untuk mereka (Nooy-Palm, 1986: 202, Tsintjilonis, 2000).
