Dans le rituel bua’ kasalle, au Levant, le mât cérémoniel (bate) est la réplique du mât du rituel du Couchant (bate lepong, bandera). L’effigie féminine (tumba’) a pour pendant l’effigie du défunt (tau-tau). L’arbre lumbaa langi’ au rituel bua’ kasalle a pour réplique l’arbre lumbaa padang. Le santal (sendana bonga) du Levant a pour réplique, au Couchant, le santal au cœur blanc (sendana dongka, Nooy-Palm 1979 : 221). La pierre mégalithe simbuang batu a pour réplique l’arbre fourchu parangka de la fête bua’ […] (Nooy-Palm 1986 : 338).

In the rituals of the East, the ceremonial mast (bate) is the equivalent of the mast of the West (bate lepong, bandera). The female effigy tumba' has as a counterpart the effigy of the deceased (tau-tau) in the funeral celebration. The tree (lumbaa langi') of the bua’ kasalle has the tree (lumbaa padang) of the rapasan as a counterpart. The sandalwood (sendana bonga) of the East has as its counterpart, in the West, the white-hearted sandalwood (sendana dongka, Nooy-Palm 1979: 221). Dalam ritus bua’, bendera upacara (bate) merupakan replika dari bendera aluk rampe matampu’ (bate lepong, bandera). Patung feminin tumba’ memiliki padanannya berupa patung mendiang (tau-tau) dalam pesta pemakaman. Pohon lumbaa langi’ dalam pesta bua’ memiliki replika dalam bentuk pohon lumbaa padang. Pohon cendana (sendana bonga) dalam aluk rampe matallo memiliki replika berupa pohon cendana berkayu putih (sendana dongka, Nooy-Palm, 1979: 221) dalam aluk rampe matampu’. Batu megalit simbuang batu memiliki replika berupa pohon bercabang parangka dari pesta bua’ (…) (Nooy-Palm, 1986: 338). (indonésien)
