Public

Recorded during the bua’ kasalle ritual, Deri, May 1993, inside the house in front of the female effigy ana’ dara. The to minaa and to burake sang praises to a special woman who was taboo at the ritual. The song is called mangaluk to tumbang. It is a consecration of the tumbang through a type of prayer that praises her wealth, her village, her house, her ricefields, and her kinship.

(French)
